Top Upgrades for the 958

Most popular generation
01
High Air Flow Intake Filter

Stock filters restrict airflow and limit inlet pressure. High-flow units from K&N or BMC increase throttle response and add measurable power on both the 3.6 V6 and 4.8 V8.

02
Air Suspension Lowering Links

Drop the ride height by up to 20mm on PASM-equipped cars without disabling the air compressor. Better aero, improved handling balance, sportier stance at a fraction of full coilover cost.

PASM equipped
03
Performance Diverter Valve

The OEM diverter valve is optimised for low boost. An upgraded unit handles higher pressure more reliably — critical on remapped or stage-2 builds where boost spikes frequently exceed 1.5 bar.

Turbo / Turbo S
04
Sport Downpipe & Cat

A 200-cell sport cat reduces back-pressure and drops exhaust gas temperatures under sustained load. Noticeable mid-range gain on turbo variants; pairs well with an ECU remap for maximum effect.

05
ECU Remap — Stage 1

The 958 4.8 Turbo responds exceptionally well to software tuning. Reputable map providers target 550–580 hp on a stock car. The 3.6 V6 gains around 30 hp with safe fuelling adjustment.

06
PCCB Brake Upgrade

Optional factory ceramic composite brakes are the lightest stopping system offered by Porsche. Available as OEM-retrofits for non-PCCB 958s — recommended before any track or canyon driving.
