What Is Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned?
Porsche Approved is the manufacturer’s official certified pre-owned (CPO) program. Before any vehicle can carry the Porsche Approved seal, it must pass a rigorous 111-point inspection carried out by Porsche-trained technicians at an authorised Porsche Centre. Every defect found must be repaired using genuine Porsche parts before the vehicle can be certified.
The result is a pre-owned Porsche that has been assessed to the same standards as a new car — with a warranty, Porsche Assistance roadside cover, and a documented inspection report to back it up.

All switches (malfunctions only)
Not Covered
Routine servicing and maintenance tasks
Wear and tear
Damage from incorrect handling or overuse
Unauthorised modifications
Vehicles not maintained per the Warranty & Maintenance brochure

Porsche Assistance
All Porsche Approved vehicles also include Porsche Assistance — 24-hour / 365-day breakdown and recovery cover, valid at home and abroad. This covers emergency roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and onward / homeward travel arrangements.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Porsche Approved CPO program?
Every vehicle undergoes a 111-point inspection by Porsche-trained technicians. Vehicles that pass receive the Porsche Approved seal and a minimum 1-year worldwide warranty with no mileage restriction. All repairs use genuine Porsche parts.
Can I get a Porsche Approved warranty on a privately purchased Porsche?
Yes — Porsche offers an individual warranty for vehicles acquired privately or those where the standard warranty has expired. This is a separate product; refer to the Porsche Approved individual warranty brochure for terms.
Does every Porsche Centre use the same 111-point checklist?
Yes. The 111-point check form is standardised globally. However, minor regional variations exist — the PCNA (North America) form uses “pass / fail” language and has some market-specific items (e.g. AdBlue for the Diesel, N-rated tyre requirements), while the European form uses numbered checkpoints 01–111. The core inspection is identical.
What happens if a checkpoint fails during the 111-point inspection?
Any failed item must be repaired before certification. The inspection records each defect as “defective and repaired” — it is not enough to simply note the defect. The completed report with all signatures is retained in the vehicle’s file and should be available to the buyer.
